OUR ULTIMATE GUIDE TO PLANNING A MICRO WEDDING IN ORLANDO IN 2026
Amanda & Cameron’s fairytale wedding at The Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange, FL
The phrase “happily ever after” comes to us from fairy tale stories of romance, so it’s no surprise that bride Amanda dreamed of beginning her happily ever after with a wedding day that felt straight from a storybook. With a traditional ceremony, meaningful moments rooted in their faith, and a venue full of historic charm, Amanda & Cameron’s celebration for 150 guests at The Estate on the Halifax was just like stepping into a Disney movie. Team photographer Maddie and team videographer Rob captured this romantic wedding just outside Orlando. View their full wedding gallery and wedding videography here!
Maria & Caleb’s luxe micro wedding at Maitland Art & History Museums in Maitland, FL
As more and more couples embrace micro weddings, the old connotation that micro = low-quality simply isn’t true anymore. We’re seeing an ever-growing number of our couples opt to tie the knot in small celebrations that feel elevated and luxurious without the price tag. Maria & Caleb’s intimate wedding day was exactly that. Emotional and intentional, their celebration included just 25 of their closest family & friends at Maitland Art & History Museums in a day that felt less like an event and more like a deeply personal gathering. As an Orlando wedding photography team, we still love our large, energetic weddings, but there’s something incredibly special and grounding about a micro wedding where every single guest plays a part in the day.
Alicia & Kaleb’s western chic wedding at The Hidden Barn Venue in Apopka, FL
One of the newest trends we’ve been seeing lately, as Orlando-based wedding photographers, is couples choosing to tie the knot in a small, private ceremony and then use their funds to throw a large wedding celebration with friends & family. Alicia & Kaleb did just that before their December wedding at The Hidden Barn Venue in Apopka, just north of metro Orlando. A few months after their private wedding ceremony, loved ones gathered for the kind of wedding reception their guests would never forget.
Karyn & Ismael’s romantic outdoor wedding at Villa Festa in DeLand, FL
Karyn & Ismael’s wedding day at Villa Festa in DeLand felt intentional from the very beginning. It wasn’t about production or excess but rather about family, faith, and creating a space where the people who matter most could truly be present. Their celebration was intimate, joyful, and deeply rooted in connection, with every part of the day reflecting who they are and what they value together. Brittany & Kevin’s family-centric home micro wedding in Orlando, FL
Nothing beats the sentimentality, warmth, and emotion of a home wedding, and Brittany & Kevin’s day was exactly that. Their backyard home wedding wasn’t about production or perfection: it was about love, legacy, and letting the celebration unfold naturally, all with the deep significance of roots in family property.
Brittany and Kevin met while working at an aerospace company, and their relationship included long distance, heartbreak, and ultimately reconnection after Kevin’s mother passed away. Brittany reached out during that season, and the two found their way back to each other, in a backstory that made the emotion of the wedding day feel especially present from the moment our team arrived.
Kaitlin & Josh’s modern art museum wedding at Holy Family Catholic Church & Orlando Museum of Art in Orlando, FL
We’ll let you in on a little secret: our favorite weddings to shoot are the ones where we go home afterwards and in great detail share every unique detail about the wedding day to our spouses or loved ones. Kaitlin & Josh’s wedding was absolutely one of those kind of days!
Soft and gentle, confident and adventurous, these lovebirds share a passion for gaming, anime, and all things nerdy. Meeting at a lawyer conference in Boston, they tied the knot back home in Orlando, where their faith-centered relationship blossomed and took root. Their traditional Catholic wedding and romantic-glam art museum reception made their wedding day feel both deeply personal and elegantly sophisticated.
Cara & Arthur’s gothic fantasy wedding at Chapel Valley Farm in Eustis, FL
As Orlando wedding photographers, we get to witness a wide range of wedding styles, but every once in a while a couple fully commits to a vision in a way that feels so unique and unforgettable. Cara and Arthur’s wedding at Chapel Valley Farm in Eustis, FL was exactly that: a gothic, Halloween-inspired fantasy wedding that felt like Lord of the Rings meets Harry Potter (to use their own words), brought to life with deep personal touches and an all-black, moody aesthetic. Diana & Ricardo’s traditional casual wedding at Saint Augustine Catholic Church & The Yardery in Sanford, FL
As an Orlando wedding photographer team, one of the things we love most about documenting weddings across Central Florida is how wildly different every celebration can be, with Diana and Ricardo’s wedding as the perfect example. Their day was unapologetically high-energy, deeply personal, a little chaotic in the best way, and completely true to who they are as a couple. The couple tied the knot in a traditional Catholic church ceremony at Saint Augustine Catholic Church with a laid-back, casual outdoor wedding reception at The Yardery in Sanford, FL. Planning a fall wedding in Florida? Read these essential tips first
“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” –Anne of Green Gables
So are we—especially when October is widely regarded as the most popular month of the year to get married! Given the cozy vibes of comfy sweaters, crisp leaves, and steaming cups of pumpkin spice lattes, it’s no wonder that the most heartwarming month of the year is an ideal time to tie the knot.
However, a fall wedding in Florida puts the “warm” into “heartwarming”. With hurricane season in full swing, daytime temperatures in the 80s-90s, and not an orange leaf in sight, planning an autumnal wedding in the Sunshine State can be a very different experience from planning one in cooler climates. That being said, there’s a lot to love about a fall wedding in Florida: milder weather, stunning sunsets late into the evening, and year-round vibrant greenery.
If you’re planning a fall wedding in Florida, here are some essential tips to navigating the Sunshine State’s unique autumn climate—and ways to maximize the fall vibes no matter the temperature outside.

We never want a potential bride or groom to feel a need to go into debt simply to pay for our wedding photography services, nor do we think that going into debt to pay for a wedding has to be the new norm.
So is it really possible to get married without going into debt? We say yes—and we’re here to share a few helpful tips to saying “I do” without the debt.
