When Lindsey and Sean decided to celebrate their love and their Ohio roots with a heartfelt fall wedding, The Event on Sunny Brook in Kent, Ohio, provided the perfect backdrop. Morning moments & getting ready
The day started at Lindsey’s home with all the ladies getting ready. Our partner photographer, Shelby Miller, captured candid shots of the bridal party preparing for the big day. The energy was light, fun, and filled with anticipation. After some time with the ladies, we headed over to Sean’s place to capture him and the guys getting ready, sharing those classic groom moments that always tell such a story.
Once everyone was ready, we returned to Lindsey’s space to capture the dress being put on—a sweet moment shared with her mom that left everyone smiling (and tearing up a little).
Before walking down the aisle, Lindsey shared a first look with her dad. The emotions ran high—tears, smiles, and a few sniffles—making this a moment they’ll never forget.
Next, we captured the bridal party portraits in the venue’s pavilion. The bridesmaids were full of joy and laughter, and of course, we couldn’t skip photos with mom and dad—priceless keepsakes for any intimate wedding.

Following the ceremony, family portraits were taken, giving everyone a chance to pause, laugh, and make memories together. Lindsey and Sean also had time for a private bridal session—just the two of them enjoying the quiet magic of their wedding day.

The reception kicked off with a grand entrance, followed by first dances: father-daughter, mother-son, and the couple’s first dance. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal from the venue’s in-house catering—so good that even seconds were served! After dinner, heartfelt speeches from the father of the bride, the best man, and the maid of honor brought both laughter and happy tears.
As the evening continued, everyone hit the dance floor. Eventually, Lindsey sent us home, content and glowing after a day full of meaningful memories.
