Small wedding, big emotions
Geri & Kaleb’s downtown elopement at the Orange County Orlando courthouse was a beautiful, emotional, and intimate day filled with love and quiet joy. This micro wedding in the heart of the city was a perfect reflection of their relationship—deep, personal, and centered entirely on each other. Geri & Kaleb chose a courthouse elopement for the same reason many other couples are choosing this increasingly popular wedding day: to save money and have their day be entirely about them.
Geri & Kaleb’s special day began as we arrived at the courthouse downtown. After making our way through security and finding seats, the energy in the room was full of anticipation—not just from Geri & Kaleb, but from the many other couples also waiting to say “I do.” Kaleb, especially, was full of emotion. As they completed their paperwork and were called into the ceremony room, it all started to feel real.
Their ceremony was short but incredibly heartfelt. With a quiet exchange of vows and rings in the official courthouse ceremony room, Geri & Kaleb officially became husband and wife! We celebrated their new chapter with photos both inside the courthouse and just outside its iconic downtown Orlando facade—a perfect urban wedding backdrop.
But one of the most special parts of the day came just afterward. Geri & Kaleb stepped into a little garden sitting area nearby to read their private vows to each other, a moment just for the two of them. This quiet, intentional moment in the midst of the busy city perfectly captured the spirit of their courthouse elopement.
We wrapped up their day with a walk to the top of a nearby parking garage for some sunset bridal portraits that expressed Geri & Kaleb’s fun, dynamic personalities!
