Author Made team videographer Rob and creative lead Michael captured this stunning springtime wedding for our videography clients Grace & Luis this March! While another talented vendor served as the official wedding photographer, we captured some photos of our own of their special day while we were behind the lens.

Love in full bloom

Grace & Luis’ wedding at Casa Feliz was a dream of springtime romance! With a garden-inspired design, elegant floral details, and a touch of historic charm, their day was blooming with the magic of spring. The couple tied the knot at this stunning historic estate wedding venue in Winter Park, FL, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Casa Feliz truly is one of our favorite wedding venues to shoot at, and it’s always a privilege to capture yet another wedding at this one-of-a-kind space!

Casa Feliz, a beautifully restored Spanish farmhouse in the heart of Winter Park, is one of the most picturesque wedding venues in Central Florida. With its charming brick exterior, arched doorways, and blue-shuttered windows, the venue feels like a step back in time. Its elegant yet cozy atmosphere creates the perfect setting for intimate, heartfelt celebrations, making this a romantic and charming setting for Grace & Luis’ springtime celebration.

An entrance to remember

As videographer Rob and I arrived at the wedding, we found Grace filled with excitement and a few nerves while groom Luis was completely ready to see his bride. Luckily for them, it was a perfect spring day: beautiful weather, sunny skies, and low humidity (anyone in central FL knows that’s a recipe for a perfect day!).

Unlike many of our couples who opt for a first look, Grace and Luis chose to wait until the ceremony for that unforgettable moment. While we love the intimacy of a private first look, we also love the anticipation and drama of a bride’s grand entrance! When Grace walked down the aisle, Luis’s face lit up with the biggest smile—his love for her shining through in every way. The floral columns framing their vows was a breathtaking touch, setting the scene for an elegant and deeply romantic ceremony symbolizing love in bloom.

Heartfelt details

The decorations at Grace & Luis’ wedding truly were a work of art. The couple repurposed the spring-inspired florals from the ceremony’s decorative columns to create a deconstructed centerpiece display that brought the garden theme indoors. Every table was adorned with elegant floral accents, soft candlelight, and personal touches, including little photos of Grace and Luis as children. One of the most touching tributes was a heartfelt display in honor of Luis’s father, who had passed away—his memory woven beautifully into their special day.

An epic first dance & a party for the ages

Grace & Luis kicked off their wedding reception with an incredible first dance to “Margaret” by Lana Del Rey. Their choreographed performance was nothing short of breathtaking, setting the tone for an evening filled with love and celebration. The Father of the Bride gave an emotional speech that had the whole party tearing up, followed by an equally stunning father-daughter dance that was also carefully rehearsed.

Then, the energy skyrocketed! The party turned up as guests filled the dance floor, celebrating the newlyweds in full force. The night was packed with joy, laughter, and nonstop dancing that carried well into the evening. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, a classic car arrived for the couple’s grand exit. Before they left, we captured an intimate nighttime photoshoot, with the glow of the historic wedding venue and twinkling lights creating a cinematic backdrop for their final moments of the night.
